Game Time Change Announced

The Sunday game in Los Angeles on June 8 has been selected by ESPN for its Sunday night game of the week, and will begin at 7:05 CDT.

Yes, I know; it's truly hard to believe that ESPN actually will televise a game on Sunday that does not involve a team not from NY or Boston. But the Cubs apparently have played well enough to get even the Eastern Sports Programming Network interested.

I can't wait to hear the insightful commentary...

about the number 100, goats, curses, Bartman, Prior, 1969, 1984, etc….

As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

What?

They never talk about that stuff.

Oh, wait.

They

will spend about an hour talking about Soriano batting leadoff. Talk about the Brian Roberts deal, and Joe Morgan will talk about how he’d play if it was 1978 again.

Don't forget

that Sandberg doesn’t belong in the Hall. Only one second baseman has ever been worthy of induction.

A couple of weeks ago

Rob (my husband) said to me, “Every time I hear Joe Morgan’s voice I feel a little bit of baseball knowledge leak out of my head.” I thought it was apropos.

Any time Joe Morgan broadcasts the Cubs it’s a good time to listen to Pat and Ron and turn the volume down on the tv. And I listen via the internet.

I am in the minority here but majority nationally in that...

...I like the Yankees v. Red Sox on Sunday night. MLB should arrange their schedule so that their rivalry is played out on every Sunday night of the season, or as many as possible given the number of games against each other. It’s an electric rivalry.

I'm being told the

June 22nd game is changed to 705 ESPN night game. Can anyone confirm this?
