BREAKING NEWS: Soriano drops fly ball (worth $3,886)

Stay connected for news and updates

Why did we pay Soriano $136 million dollars for eight years to play for the Cubs? True, he had just come off of a great 40-40 season with Washington. But look at these numbers

Soriano gets:

$17,000,000 per SEASON

$104,938 per GAME

$11,659 per INNING

$3,886 per OUT

I am not a total anti-Soriano guy, but he really needs to improve his defense, and needs to quit have month long cold streaks. Yesterday, Bob Brenly put it perfectly, "When Soriano is hot, he is really hot. When he is cold, he is really cold. There is no in-between".
