If we trade D-Ro, we’ll need a 2B in return. Or…we could put Theriot there and Cedeno at short. But that doesn’t upgrade our team at all.

If the Brewers don't start to win, Ben Sheets' contract ends this year...
He could be on the trading market, The Cubs could trade DeRosa and some prospects (I’m sure they can assemble a nice package) for Sheets and start Cedeno and Theriot up the middle.

He's saying it would be that big of an upgrade to our pitching that we could live with the offensive downgrade.
I actually agree. But ain’t happening. Crew aren’t giving us their ace so we can win. We’re not giving the Crew our best prospects so they can beat us in 2-3 years.

Pick your poison.
Door number one -
Jim Edmonds, weak fly ball to center field!
Door number two -
Micah Hoffpauir, swinging five feet over the pitch!
Door number three -
Mike Fontenot, Wonder Hampster! May have to watch him impersonate a second baseman after he bats!
