Now I’m at Kansas, basking in the glory of the 2008 Orange Bowl Champions and Your 2008 NCAA Men’s Basketball Champions. I’m a bit of a turncoat, after KU just had the 2nd greatest season for bball and football ever, besides the recent Gators.

Bucky is still #1...

...in my heart, hell, a “Jayhawk” isn’t even a real animal…but recent successes have made it difficult. Bucky disappoints me too much – always start out 6-0 or 7-1 with an easy non-conference schedule, and Bo gets his team to a top ten ranking…then they always crash n burn.

Bo

Well, I think he gets a lot out of what he’s got. The top recruits aren’t going to go to Madison—in either sport. To get to the top 10 after losing Tucker and Taylor impressed the hell out of me. Definitely didn’t see it coming.

Now, if only the FB team could be consistent. And who will be the QB. . . .

A game thread really isn't the place to hash this out again...

...but fielding percentage is entirely useless, because you can’t make an error if you don’t make it to the baseball, and it’s not an error if the runner beats out your throw. So you can perhaps see why a guy with good hands but poor range and arm would put up a good fielding percentage but not actually be good on defense.

For those of us in LA

they finally fixed the Fox Espanol feed of the game. For some reason, in the top of the 4th, the feed was almost 5 minutes behind. So I watched the rally in Spanish, which was fine. Now I can sync Pat & Ron to the Spanish feed and be back in business. Go Cubs!!

But it is wierd that every half inning of the game, the feed/sync timing changes. Fox is messed up!
