I don't hate the Rockies....

but it was agony for me to see them go to the World Series last year after getting an incredibly lucky run of luck (and yeah, they got hot and made some good plays). But damnit, I’ve been rooting for the Cubs since the Denver Bears AAA club was the only game in town.

....in my area of Rockford we are forced to have Charter Madison, WI cable. The rest of Rockford gets Comcast. So, as a result I only get WGN and ESPN games. AH… my brother across town is rubbing it in my face.

Wish I were there

I got to watch much of the game at work, luckily.

This game will kill my fantasy team’s ERA (I have Cook), but what the heck. If he had to pitch badly, thank goodness it’s against the Cubs.

This game was so reminiscent of the Cubs 10-9 comeback vs. the Astros in 1989 (I watched that whole game on TV). They were down 9 runs in that one.
