Game Today
Fellow Cubbie Fans
If the rain is heavy this afternoon, any chance they will postpone the game until a night game. Probably a dumb question. I do not know if that is a common thing. Or would they just cancel the game and play double header tommorow. Sorry for my lack of knowledge about rain outs, etc. This is a great series for us to put some distance between us and those other two teams.

there’s a restriction on the number of night-games they can play on a weekend. They’ll probably cancel, if they have to.

Maybe postpone to a DH tomorrow?

I hope they don't cancel...
I’ll be very bored all day.

According to the City Ordinance
1)they cannot play ANY Friday night games.
2)They are limited to 30 on the number of night games they can play. I believe there are 28 scheduled right t now (both already played and future games), leaving 2 games to play with. 1 of these, however, has been taken up by the Peoria Chiefs game. SO that leaves 1 night game to go…and that will probably be a Sunday night game.

True, but...
... if the game is delayed (which it wasn’t), they COULD play into the evening. It has happened before on Fridays.

About the Peoria Chiefs game...
... it will not be considered a night game date unless they sell more than 10,000 tickets—I don’t know if they have done so yet.
