Game Over Open Thread
Here's the place to pronounce "game over" before the game is actually over. Who will be the earliest to pronounce "game over"? Who will derive the greatest amount of satisfaction from his or her early pronouncement? Only time will tell.

You're really cool man. We just get frustrated sometimes when we continue to lose against teams who were much better than. Cool it.

Let me be the first to say in this thread...
... game NOT over. Cubs just scored, it’s 5-2. Only the fifth inning.
The rest of this thread is for pessimiss only.

Hey, maybe this was a good omen.
The Cubs comeback started almost at the exact moment this post was made.

Hey ballhawk....
.....did the tech’s get back to you yet about your idea of having the ability to ignore particular fanposts?

yep, they thought it was a good idea and it's something they will consider in a future release.
But until then, I guess we just have to grin and swear it…

unfortunately, there are limits to the size of display screens
...and the current layout of the SB software doesn’t account for the prolific fanposting that goes on here. So after just a short time, the fanposts that you want to keep current with soon roll off the display (as they’ve been displaced by many fanposts that you have no interest in viewing again) and there’s no easy way to quickly navigate to them again. If this new feature is implemented, you will be able to select those fanposts you do want to see again, and create your own customized view. That way, each user can see what they want to see and don’t have to see what they don’t want to see.
