Did anyone see the latest on David Weathers and the Reds?

Sound familiar? It's Kent Merker and Steve Stone all over again. "Us against the World." Way to run your clubhouse, Dusty.
I'm so glad Dusty's in our division again. Now if we could only beat them.
That's all. Go Cubs. Seventy five words and I can be done writing. Out.

Wow.
Welcome to our (former) world. Glad it’s them and not us.

Mercker
was an ass.
Soriano should hit 5th. Period.

Actually, Mercker is a very nice guy who is respected
in baseball. Something never said about stoney.

Respected by who?
John Rocker?

maybe when you grow up
you’ll meet people in baseball and you can ask them.

Never
I respect no man who makes a mullet look bad.

Too much going on here...
First, the guy figures something out intuitively?? THEN he uses The View as a reference point?? Did he think he was being interviewed by Today’s Woman?
This is not hot topics. You go play baseball. Shush now…
I Believe!!!!

Maybe Weathers
should worry about his own problems, like his pancake shaped head

Mmmm...pancake head
Now I’m hungry.
And frustrated because I can’t remember which episode of Scrubs that’s from.

Actually, this isn't the same as Mercker
Weathers was on the DL and listening to the radio. He was upset that an announcer implied the Reds were quitters.
Mercker was on the active list and watching TV. He was upset that the announcers were complimentary of the opposing pitcher.
There’s a pretty big difference—I don’t have a problem with someone standing up for their teammates.
Then there was Todd Walker, who knew not only what the Cubs announcers were saying, but the opposition’s announcers. What a shame that he’s gone…

It is pointless but it's not a big deal either....
...pointless to argue with the media in the media forum. With that said, I don’t see this as Dusty pulling the strings, the guy called up away from the team. Maybe he was just pissed? As a fan I am not upset by Weathers’ actions because they were not during a game.

However...
... I’m thinking a manager who was actually in charge might tell his players not to do this kind of thing.

Like a manager
who brought in his RH pitcher one hitter to late? I couldnt believe Affleldt pitched to Soriano THEN brings in the right to face Theriot…..I AM CONFUSED, so is Dusty
