How the mighty have fallen
He has had a horrendus year so far, mostly because he hasn't pitched. Not sure how many Cubs fans have been paying attention to the AL Central beyond that other team in Chicago and seeing that they have a worse record than us, ddbut I have been interested in Willis ever since I found out we traded him.
Last night seemed to really go badly for him, as mentioned in the article, and for a struggling team like the Indians, an 8-2 win is impressive. If Detroit plans on staying in the race (which I'm not sure how possible that is given that they are already ELEVEN games out of first (given, it IS the AL Central, which is just as strong as the NL Central), they'll need strong starts out of Willis. With Bonderman now on the DL, Willis needs to turn it around quickly.
