It kills me how they only show the highlights for runs scored and the BEST defensive plays. I want to see the replays of the Sori HBP and they won’t show that. But should there ever be a play where a someone walks in a run, you’d better believe I’d be able to watch that to my heart’s content.

Soriano out for 6 weeks!!!!!

Unreal

Felix Pie must play everyday!

UGH!

Eric Patterson should be called up, IMO. Not Murton.

We have 13 pitchers.

We could afford to call up both. That said, Murton is a real left fielder who gets on base.

6 weeks they said on ESPn til Sori gets back

There are plenty of things the Cubs can do.

Murton, Hoffpauir, move DeRosa to left and use Fontenot/Cedeno at second.

As long as Lee, Ram, and Soto hit, we'll be fine with that move

I don't see anything less than 4 weeks on these sites for Soriano's injury.

Great play by Royce ring. Dove backwards and caught it, threw from his knees to nab Soto.

I don't mean to bitch but....

why is karma so vicious with the Cubs? How about a break, sometime?

Ok, I got it out of my system. Thanks for listening.

Prediction time

With the injury of one of the star players on a first place team with the best record in baseball, the lead story on Sportscenter tonight will be 20 minute special-interest piece on how life has changed for Joba Chamberlain since becoming a starter for the Yankees. This will be followed by the replaying of Sunday Conversations with Joba’s pet goldfish and his thoughts on his master’s move.

And then the Yankee and Red Sox highlights, of course, and one more 40 minute in-depth analysis on the Celtics-Lakers series by Stephen A. Smith.

Confession

Dear Lord, I am sorry for all the times last year I called Ryan Dempster “Ryan Dumpster”.

What a pleasant surprise this has been.

Good luck Sori, get well soon and we’ll need you back rested and ready to catch fire.
