Pujols Out For At Least 3 Weeks...
Also, Adam Wainright was placed on the 15-day DL.
Wow...you don't wish to see this happen, even to the Cards. Pujols is truly one of the most talented players in the game. Kinda reminds you of when DLee got hurt and the Cubs tanked a few years ago. Hope the Cubs can take advantage of his absence. Chris Duncan is likely to be Pujols's replacement, but he's no Albert in any way... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3438156This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, managing editor (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). I don't care about the Cards...
... but I don’t want to see this happen the the Angry Squirrels, the first place team in the BCB “I wish I were at Wrigley” league. We have Paul Konerko backing him up, but he is no Pujols.

I actually like
Pujols as a player. One of the few Cardinal players… actually the only Cardinal player I like, and respect. I hope for a speedy recovery for him—then I hope we beat the living crap outta them when we play them at full strength and knock them out the race.

Yeah, you don't wish injury upon a player ... Especially of Pujol's calibre ....
BUT, I’m only crying crocodile tears … poor. poor Deadbirds! But, I seem to remember el Alberto Superstar was a bit of a whiner when Eckstein (the SS) won the WS MVP. Kind of left a bad impression. Or am I remembering incorrectly?

You are remembering incorrectly
Pujols was ungracious when Ryan Howard was named league MVP in 2007, but he didn’t complain when his teammate was named the WS MVP in 2006. Pujols’ own WS numbers/production were fairly mediocre. He had nothing to whine about.

3 weeks? Really?
I would venture 6-8 weeks. After all it looked HORRIBLE and he is the franchise
