You know
besides Dempster and Gallagher no one has really performed above-average in this rotation.

three straight
balls to Quentin. then a strike and then he walked him.
I think Lilly’s shaken.

Problem is that our offense has been so anemic lately
that being down two runs in the third seems huge
yeah
We need some power from our 3 and 4 spots.

Because they're still our two biggest hitters.
Slumps come and go, but when we’re facing a must-score situation you want Lee or Rami up there.

Let's not unwind just because Lily has thrown HR balls and Lee can't seem to hit anymore.
This is baseball. The game of averages, of statistics. We’ve got a good team, and with Hendry on the market for a pitcher, there’s going to be some changes! :-)
BTW, Marquis was good last start! I keep telling myself that :-)
Lee had 3 hits last night we know he can and will hit
Lilly has been giving up HRs all season long

I haven't given up and never will I'm a Cub fan I don't know how
Look my point is simple, Lou babies his superstar players. He talks a good game and has little patients with anyone else. Maybe a drop to the 5 hole would wake, The Ram up?

I think it would have the reverse effect.
Players are fickle and feel they perform better in certain situations. Look at Soriano.
I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling, so why don't we just ignore each other til we go away.

wich goes back to my point about
Lou and his studs. He doesn’t want to mess with their heads so he just leaves them. I just think it wouldn’t hurt to try, throw Geo in the cleanup spot for a day.

this makes no sence to me
And I’m leaving work now so peace out people.
I’m thinking 7th inning today that sound right.

Not just him.
ALL managers do this. Pujols ain’t getting moved to fifth or sixth just cos he’s in a slump.

You're right
I’ve been even more frustrated by Ramirez than I am Lee-up until recently he was always the guy I wanted up in big rbi situations-they both just seem in an unbelievable funk
