If it weren’t for his love with pitching situations, Fontenot most likely wouldn’t have started today, as well as Patterson.

I only said NEEDS

because this is a day where you don’t want to have to destroy your bullpen in a 15-12 game. Let the Sux go through their pen and hopefully we can get Marquis through 7 and have either Wuertz or Lieber mop up. That could set the bullpen up well for the next few days.

Wow.

I just realized (courtesy of WGN announcers) that this is a COME FROM BEHIND lead. It doesn’t feel that way.

Ok...One more hit, Marquis needs to be DONE

He’s done all he can reasonably be expected to done against a mortal enemy as well as another first place team. He does NOT need to be out there much longer. They need to get Wuertz back up NOW

Bad base running by Marquis

Why didn’t he get back to the bag????

by cocknfire on Jun 21, 2008 2:17 PM CDT reply actions

the reason that was a shitty call

is the ump did not see it.

I have checked it three times on TiVo and the first base ump was not looking at Marquis. He just bought the play by AJ. What an ass. If the ump did not see it, he can not call it. All Marquis did was turn, he did not make a move to second.

THIS IS OUR CENTURY!!

by cozmotaylor123 on Jun 21, 2008 2:19 PM CDT up reply actions

But the reverse angle showed he never would have beat him there.
