I just wish I had

more confidence in our pitching coach (Larry) to get Marmol out of this control funk. I have been down on Rothschild since he was here with Dusty. I have just never been a big fan of him. I can’t put my finger on it, but as good as our pitchers are, I think a better pitching coach can get more out of them.

I would love for the Cubs to

bring in Greg Maddux. If he would ever retire (he stays in too good of shape). I assume that is why the organization is playing out the string with LR.

Is that a benefit to bringing him on mid season? Wouldn’t he be more likely to come to us if he retired with us? And plus, that whole presence thing.

Met Ryno earlier this year down at Obrien field (one of the joys of living in peoria is Ryno manages the Cheif's)

Ryno waited in the rain for almost an hour to sign autographs for every fan that was waiting for him… that guys is pure class
