Cards/BoSox
Extra innings. This game feels like it will never end. Chip Caray is very irritating. I need 75 words. And this isn't enough.
C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon! C'mon Boston, end this soon!
Only at 60. Maybe this will be better. Yay!

What a wasted opportunity for the BoSox last inning

izzy made some good pitches
the BoSox have missed a lot of opportunites. Lead off triple in the bot 9 comes to mind

So, I see Manny DH on the Replaced list.
I wonder if that means the BoSox will have to hit their pitcher?

both benches are empty
or close.
by halfblindcubbiegirl on Jun 22, 2008 5:19 PM CDT up reply actions
they're STILL PLAYING?
well, I don’t mind them blowing out their benches, but we don’t play them soon enough for it to matter…

yeah
i wish we played them sooner. but… yeah. i don’t make the schedule

i just don't get that the cards are our biggest rivals
and we’ve only played them once so far… but we’ve played the pirates 9,000 times already

you have way more patience than I do....
I logged off and came back to see the score

You are n 2nd with no one out
3 shots at a hit to win with the heart of the order coming up, and you get adventurous on the basepaths? Ugh. Thats like RJ getting caught stealing 3rd with 2 outs.

that ball was hit hard
that villone got his bare hand on it and it went right to the 2b is a near miracle.

Is it just me or is it nice
to see TLR being a total jackass to someone else’s team?

sox
i,d love to see the rays grab 1st from them.the cubs drew almost one hundred thousand in their series.the rays usually average about 10thousand during the week.the fans are definitely getting excited over tampa.a shame we could,nt have beaten them.maybe the cubs cant win in fla.
miller with anyone else
might be okay, but joe morgan is just so HORRIBLE i don’t get why they don’t get rid of him. the fans all hate him, why can’t they get a decent PBP guy??

Yeah, I want Reynolds back
He was my favorite Baseball analyst, but ESPN fired him for sexual harassment.
i liked reynolds too
i think he works for mlb.com now. they should repace morgan with kruck. i think he’s hilarious
so do i
he’s so funny. did you see the bit when he tried to hit the softball pitcher? I haven’t laughed that hard in a while

needless to say i'll be watching w/ the sound off tonight, probably have some music going
can’t stand the delay between tv and radio, otherwise it’d be pat and ron
i have steel siding on my house and get ZERO
radio reception. And I can’t see clearly enough to follow the game I depend on good PxP. Which means I’ll probably end up swearing for a few hours.
by halfblindcubbiegirl on Jun 22, 2008 5:46 PM CDT up reply actions
oh lord...
you poor soul… have you thought about doing the mlb audio thing online? i joined the cubs club last year and got that
i've thought about it
but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
by halfblindcubbiegirl on Jun 22, 2008 5:49 PM CDT up reply actions
I actually really enjoyed it
you get all the radio calls out there too… love listening to the Brewers calls when the Cubs aren’t playing, Bob Uecker is awesome
I also enjoy listening to him

A good day for me is a cubs win and a sox loss.
About time
The Redsox should have ended this in the 9th inning. Oh well, now to beat the Whitesux.
Geez
that was a long ass game. and we still have to wait a million years for OUR game.
