When he basically called Sosa a cheater after the corked bat thing …
But distance and Sammy denoument in Chicago and I can’t hold that against him much…

and maybe we can hold the fort down the rest of the way….keep the lead, keep momentum….
I'd like the 1, 2, 3..
to save on his pitch count.. but either way no runs going up would be perfect!!

Rotation is not good enough, with or without Zambrano
4/5’s of the rotation are 5 and 6 inning pitchers max. We are in BIG trouble of Ryan Dempster isn’t able to sustain his top flight performance over the first 3 months.
Absolutely MUST add a frontline starting pitcher.

Mike Piazza is a likable guy? the most likable superstar? Are you serious, Thom? I thought he was a smug jerk.
And the whole Piazza-Clemens thing?
Alan Trammell: Assistant (to the) Manager
Don't know
Several years back (during Piazza’s prime with the Mets), Skip Caray had an interesting comment on a Braves broadcast: (paraphrase) “You have to like Piazza. He’s just one of the guys. No entourage, no PR guy, he’s just one of the guys. Does interviews willingly, always willing to talk after a loss or a bad game. A true professional.”
While that might have been a bit hyperbolic considering the Bonds entourage at that time, it still says something about him.

there is this crap with MLB.COM
about your username being associated with a specific IP address. When you move to a different location, you now get blocked by mlb.com. It is crap and false advertising as they sell the product for “watch it away from home” but they block you when you leave home.
Unless you are on a laptop with a wireless 3G card all the time, you will have this problem whenever you try to log in away from your base. It is BS!!

I thought his problem might be that his work blocks video streams, or any sports related traffic.

It is a problem that I have had for 45 days, but I got tired of paying
Internet charges in hotels, so I got one of those 3G wireless cards and I don’t have the mlb.com freeze out any more.
How do you connect to the Internet for MLB from different locations?
THIS IS OUR CENTURY!!
wifi
i work at an enterprise rent a car inside of a car dealership…..use their free wifi there and then just my internet here
and the other thing is it was working for a while and then this last week is when it started to black out
Would you know if there are any specials going on right now from Enterprise? Thanks!
Alan Trammell: Assistant (to the) Manager
Usually hotel Internet
sometimes WiFi hotspots.
Maybe I’m given a pass because I’m international, so blackouts don’t apply to me anyway.

No, just a gut feeling
He’s thrown heavy innings the last few times out. A CG last time. Just feels like he’s due for a blister or a pulled oblique or something. Its sad though, because he’s a great pitcher when healthy.

"I've never complained about it. I'm thankful to have a jersey." Mark DeRosa, 22 Aug 2007
He had seven days of rest before this start
so he can be extended a little bit. I’d say he probably won’t pitch in the seventh, however.
