I was voting for Fukudome, but I was also voting for Braun because I really didn’t want to see Junior in yet another all-star game. Turns out I wasn’t helping things.

I just voted 25 times, I really try to selec based on stand-alone season, and nothing more. Here’s my picks this year:

Ben Broussard, Jason Bartlett, and Jose Vidro lead the way on my ballot!

There is absolutely no reason that Fukudome deserves to be starting, let alone attend the all star game. Don’t get me wrong, he’s been good, just not good enough to make the team.

The shame is that 2 Brewer outfielders should both be ahead Soriano and Fukudome. However, I don’t think Hart has had a good enough year to go and didn’t get an All Star vote from me.

Griffey / Soriano / Braun?

That would have to be the worst defensive outfield in ever put on a major league field. Where do you even put everyone?

as cool as it would be to see fukudome in the all-star game I really don’t know if he truly deserves it.

As big as a Cubs fan as I am, I can never justify voting someone into the all-star game that doesn’t deserve it. Although I do enjoy Fukudome a whole bunch, and am very pleased the Cubs have him, he does not deserve to be in the all-star game.

It’d be cool if he was on the AS team, but he doesn’t deserve it.

The objective is to make the playoffs and win a World Series. I voted for Kosuke for the All Star game. But if he doesn’t make it then he doesn’t make it and no great shakes. Life moves on. Hard to argue with Ryan Braun given his burgeoning superstar status in this league.

But obviously not as a starter.

We at LoneStarBall were hoping to make a deal with Cubs fans. We are going to get in tonight and make as many emails as we can and vote our guys in. What we would like to know is whether Cubs fans would help us in voting in Ian Kinsler and Milton Bradley. Quite frankly, Dustin Pedroia over Kinsler is a joke, and we would love nothing more than to take down the NY-Boston voting empire. In return, we would gladly vote Fukudome, and any other guys you guys may have close to being in.

Well, I think those guys are pretty deserving. If you all want to help them out, they’ll help us out. Can’t hurt.
