Howry Cow! SWL on TV again!
I'm gonna show you my tech crappiness but here's my "grab" of SWL on San Diego channel 4 (my local standard def feed in Vegas):
Right after Woody's 1st backwards K. it's via digital camera - i don't know how to actually grab an image from my TV - and a standard def channel, so you won't be able to gawk at SWL's womb broom or therioty good looks. we also won't be able to debate Mrs. SWL's milfiness. but there you have it.
For the poll:
SWL -
Theriot - (yes, that's SWL proclaiming his jealousy of Theriot)
Azaria -
Hughes -
Post your suggestion in the comments and I will add the good ones.

Naw..
I’m up late to practice some songs for our church’s worship team practice tomorrow. I usually get a couple hours on Mon or Tues but obviously I’ve been having my hair done and the pancake make-up applied for my closeups. I struck out again with Bobby tonight. I tried getting Eyre and Dempster’s attention, but no dice. I didn’t make it to BP tonight…didn’t get to my seat until the top of the 3rd inning. My son is playing his end of season baseball tournament and went 3-3 and threw 3 scoreless innings and they won 11-4…but he plays for the Padres (there is always a downside…lol). Anyways…my “Domestic Partner” is in that shot, but you can’t really see her too well…she’s sitting down all lady like and stuff. She’s beside me in the cub’s visor and black jacket.
These last two games were a blast…getting to heckle Barret after every steal and passed ball was great…watching Soto, DeRo and Fonzie go yard was awesome…but best of all was getting to witness Wood getting both saves. Take that Steve Stone!
I did wave the extra shirt (it’s draped over my arm in that picure) at the whole team as they made their way back to the dugout. I’m pretty sure Gerald Perry saw it because he stopped right before the dugout and stared at me/it and then cracked a smile. Rothschild and Trammel hung out in the dugout after the game and threw some women/girls a couple balls while they waited for a friend/relative to be let down onto the field. They wouldn’t even look at me. Sigh. Looks like I’ve got an extra “Howry Cow” shirt…anybody wanna buy an authentic “worn-on-tv-Howry Cow t-shirt”?

Send it to me and I'll wear it while 'hawking on waveland and maybe get the shirt some more air time.
But based on the image above, you look a bit more svelte than me, so it’d probably be a little snug on me. But hey, if anyone asked, I could just explain to them how shirts shrink when they’re washed. You know, that whole shrinkage thing… ;-)

I voted for Azaria...
...but I still see a bit of Michael Madsen there:

Mr. Blonde, baby.
You made a valiant effort, SWL. Maybe you could send a t-shirt to someone who’s going to be sitting behind the bullpen at Wrigley. He or she might have a more prolonged opportunity to convince Howry to accept this token of appreciation.

Oh, and remember, folks: Alfonso Soriano is NOT batting leadoff. He's batting first.

What the freak?
Screw you, Movie Snobs! As is perhaps obvious, it was Mr. Blonde from Reservoir Dogs. I think I’ll go listen to the soundtrack now.

Memorial Day
I was at a game Memorial Day weekend sitting behind the Cubs bullpen and there was some guy sitting on the front row that had a 10 minute conversation with Howry. I’m not sure who the guy was but just about all the players stopped by and talked to him. I also think I’ve seen that guy talking to players in the past also.

Do I get a prize for the Azaria comparison if it wins?
How does that make you feel?

Maybe the extra shirt?
Provided, of course, that it isn’t spoken for and Mr. SWL obliges.
