I know Neal Cotts has only pitched 3 2/3 innings, but I really like what I've seen from him so far. No runs, and four strikeouts. As I said, I know it's a small sample size, but remember when he used to set-up for the 05 White-Sox? He was lights out and only 25! If he can set up again, the Cubs can use Marmol to get out of some of the big jams late in games. Or he could just give Marmol a breather for a while, maybe rotate a bit. But can he still pitch well? I think he can. I personally think the Cubs gave up on him too early lat year. I know. his ERA was 4.86, but he still had a WHIP that's better than his so far this year and he also struck out 14, and only allowed one homer in 16 2/3 innings. My point is, it would be huge for the Cubs to have him be able to set up, so you don't have to be afraid to use Marmol in other situations. What do you guys think?
