During last offseason I thought we could have some fun where everyone popped a baseball movie into their DVDs and we commented back and forth and had a chat while watching them.

We are all waiting for that glorious October night when we finally win it all. Until then we will continue to cheer, never do the wave and hope.

that radar map reminds me

of the flooded basements from my childhood days in suburban Chicago.

We don’t have basements in LA-LA Land!

sort of

they just have crawl spaces for most older homes.

You are starting to see more finished basements now as land is SO expensive near the coast. But finished basements are rare…like natural breasts. :-)

Now all I need is for the Lakers

to lose tonight and it will make me a happy (happier) man in LA. I love seeing long faces on the fair weather fans in LA.

Cubs split and a 4-3 road trip. I’ll take it. We have a lot of road trips ahead over the next 30 days.

ENJOY YOUR DAY OFF, CUBS!!

Rich Hill

Well, the pitching would be in a better state if Hill was pitching like last year. Let’s just hope he can cut down on the walks and return with more confidence on the mound.

Lakers

The only reason I want the Lakers to lose is because of Kobe. I don’t hate him, but I just hate that the people think he is the next MJ. I know what Kobe is capable of doing, but most of the new NBA fans and analysts (e.g. Steven A. Smith) need to watch some of 90’s basketball and realize what MJ did to to the best of the best.

I want the Celts to win just because of my favorite NBA player Kevin Garnett. There are few bball players who have the heart and determination like KG.

Laker fans are so fair weather

they do NOT deserve a championship. I would love to see Garnett get this “loser” monkey off his back this year.

As Are Most LA Sports Fans

I’ve met a couple good fans, but the majority don’t know their sports and go to games just to make noise and ride the bandwagon.

Kudos to Marquis

Very impressive performance tonight, gave the bullpen outside of marmol and wood some more rest, enjoy the off day tomorrow

I thought the game was being shown live on ESPN into Australia and we’ve just got to the bottom of the 5th and I was logging on to say Go Cubs lets hang in there and saw the final result!
