Yeah, he's been lookin' pretty shaky.
I blamed it on the fact he was facing a lefty yesterday. But he still looks bad tonight.

he's a lead off hitter

It is not "Excellent SP" ..Cain is pitching a "Good" game and our hitters are swinging at everything
that catches their eye. It’s so amazing how you certify the opposite team’s pitching as “Excellent” every time our offense struggles.
Not every time ...
But I’ve been watching this game. Have you?
And every time the offense struggles, you blame it on the team being tired and lacking energy. Maybe they should take some Geritol, just to make you happy.

Way to watch the called 3rd..TheRiot
actually TheRiot is kind of pissed that he won’t get a chance for Caught Stealing..
Guys generally don't swing as well off the bench.
Which is another reason I don’t like this. Even if you think Theriot is better than Cedeno, he’s ice cold, which negates much of the advantage.
that was not a strike

Honest question
why PH for Cedeno? with the tying run on 1st and 2 outs, you need contact or god willing an XBH… can’t Cedeno do that?

If you’re subbing for a position player, that’s a bad sign. Especially if that position player bats from the same side of the plate.

Blame it on the piss poor hitting tonight, not Riot.

Absolute lack of clutch hitting over the last 5 games excluding yesterday.
Devin Hester, you are rediculous! -Jeff Joniak
Brewers gained a full
game.
Its a long season. This team HAS to learn how to win on the road more consistently.
This team has to execute better.
They are still not fundamentally sound. Not getting Ward over and in after a lead off double in the 7th cost them the chance at the win.
If the White Sox sweep the Indians
the Sabathia sweepstakes will begin.
Begin the begin
The CC sweepstakes may begin now after losing the series to the Sox. CC is pitching tomorrow in the final game against the Sox. IF the Indians are inclined to trade CC I don’t think a win tomorrow changes that. In fact it may be in their interest to have CC pitch well tomorrow and win.
Bench Strength
Logically it should improve once Soriano, ARam, and Johnson return to the fold, but still it might be worth pursuing a couple more solid bats to solidify the bench and spell the regulars twice a week. Guys like Frank Catalanatto and Brad Hawpe come to mind.
Eat More Katsui
Tough loss
Both pitchers are off-and-on types and we came on the short end of that stick.
I was watching the game while listening to the A’s/Angels, so I was pretty baseballed up.
