Socal Cub fans...
anybody live in the San Gabriel Valley area interested in getting together and watching some Cub's baseball? No one I know gives a crap about the Cubbies, I'd love to watch a game w/ another Cub fan... I know a place in Covina that has the MLB package. It's called the Rude Dog Bar and Grill. It's a cool place, not too expensive. the first round's on me. I don't know protocol for posting email adresses. if anyone is interesyed, please let me know. Tony

be happy to meet you 1/2 way
like I said, don’t know if we can post email adresses, but if you can get mine from Al, that would be cool w/ me. I’m looking forward to Oct. Cub games!
Of course, you mean
Los Angeles area Cubs fans…there is life, past Anaheim.
This is the mind-set that pisses off San Diegans. There’s another “SoCal” 120 miles south…

Ah yes
Why I moved to Sacramento. (Not really, but)
You can’t call it Los Angeles because everyone who doesn’t live in the LA city limits gets upset because how can you associate their lovely little city with the crime, drugs and stuck-up attitudes of Los Angeles. Everyone who lives in the city of LA gets upset because they don’t want to be associated with the small-minded dumb hicks who shop at the strip malls in the suburbs.
Then you’ve got the people who actually live in the city of Los Angeles but you can’t say they live in Los Angeles because they live in Sherman Oaks or Northridge. Which isn’t in Los Angeles even though it is, you stupid idiot.
But you can’t say “Southern California” because then people from San Diego and Palm Springs get pissed. So you live in an area that has no name.
I live in a Cow Town now and I’m proud. And when people up here say “The City” for San Francisco, “The Bay Area” for, well. the Bay Area and “Northern California” when they mean to include Sacramento. Of course, then there are places like Redding that are really Northern California, but no one really ever hears from them. I think they’re hermits. :-)

LOL.
I know someone from Chico-Redding, and I’ve visited Sacto several times, have some friends there. Have never attended a River Cats game though. How far are you from Sacramento? My friends are/used to be in Elk Grove, Carmichael, Folsom, and West Sac.

born in Chula Vista, lived all over tha area until jr. year in h.s. Just didn’t want to exclude anyone.
I'm in Bakersfield...
which kinda sucks, but I’m down to watch a game anytime with someone from this area of God’s country.
I Have Relatives In Ventura
So maybe I can combine a family visit with a trip to SB to meet you!
