7-13 LOOK FOR THE SIGN!
Laura and I will be in attendance at the game tomorrow. We're getting up at 7 tomorrow morning to be on the train by 8:30 so that we're at Wrigley by 10 so that we can get shirts for my man-crush, Aramis!
Here is our sign:
LOOK FOR THE SIGN!
And if we win, a little something special is on the back.
LOOK FOR THE SIGN!

(The Giants}
DEROSA: How did it feel when you're sitting in Baton Rouge and it came across the ticker that Mark DeRosa had just signed to play second base with the Chicago Cubs.
THERIOT: In all honestly, when I saw it, I really felt like punching you right in the mouth and or breaking your leg.

"It’s like they have 40,000 players on one team. Forty thousand people want to be in the dugout slapping fives. ‘Passionate’ is an understatement. Fans like that are special." -- Giants LHP Alex Hinshaw on Wrigley Field
That's what I'm sayin!
Is this heaven?? Well, it’s at least half of Iowa…

Evey Hammond: Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. V: By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
Do you know where you will be sitting?
We’ll watch for the sign, but it’ll help if we know what part of the ballpark you’ll be in.
Give a cheer for all of us watching at home, and participating in the game thread.
Sigh! Wish I could be at the game.
IF IT TAKES FOREVER!!

Sunday..."Dempster the Destroyer"
Just curious, where do you guys (and gals) live? I noticed you were taking the train and that it was around an hour and one half. I am looking at the 9/21/08 game, taking the train. Little longer for my wife and I since we live in central IL. Anyway, enjoy the game, and may it be a pitchers duel that ends with our flowers sent to the losing pitcher…Mr. Lincecum!
Melrose Park
it’s a western suburb.

Can't wait to see the sign on WGN
and thanks for the shout out!
Let’s hope today’s a rout straight through the bottom of the 9th. Have fun!

"a little something is on the back"
Drew, don’t be teasing us like that. You’re getting my hopes up. Up until now I had no idea what you looked like, but now I’m in full anticipation mode that after Dempster throws a complete game 3-hit shutout, you’re going to stand up, let that little bit of pot belly hang out (along with the double chin), comb your mustache, replace the grin on your face with a rather blank expression, turn the sign around and hold it up high with your two beefy arms…
Let’s have it Drew – are you “that guy”?
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
Just noticed my name in the sign
Thats great…..thanks!
"Hey.....Cubs win!!!" ---Harry
"Swung on belted!!!"---Chip
If you're going to put a few names on the sign,
ya gotta put ‘em all. It’s the equivalent of only having 20 sticks of gum for your 25 person 2nd grade class, or like being one of the few kids who didn’t get invited to a birthday party.

I can put them ALL on the sign.
Did anyone see the sign on the tv?

I didn't but I was
distracted a lot by a 1 year old.
Carlos Zambrano and Rich Harden. Now that's a pair of Aces.
oh, did a certain BCB poster come visit you? ;-)

Hey drew.
I just saw this post in old posts section. Thanks for the shout out on the sign… It’s so good to be a part of the gang here at BCB.
