Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

OT: Pregame Music Faves

This is fun topic to talk about during the break.

What is your favorite music to listen to when your getting ready for a game or any type of competition?

It has been noted recently that guys like Theriot like to listen to 'Gangsta Rap', more specifically he says he likes Lil Wayne.

I prefer to listen to something heavier like some Avenged Sevenfold or Lamb of God. Just something to get me angry normally helps.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation or Al Yellon, editor-in-chief (unless it's a FanPost posted by Al). FanPost opinions are valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

Rage is always a good call

I’d have to go with anything from 311. Mostly older stuff

I just posted this in the "new slogan" thread:

Why it isn’t "Right Now" by Van Halen is beyond me – the great intro music, the lyrics (Don’t wanna wait ‘til tomorrow; why put it off another day), the way it crescendos into a heavier song than as it starts – it was tailor-made for this season.

Theriot listens to gangsta rap? L. O. L.

"It’s like they have 40,000 players on one team. Forty thousand people want to be in the dugout slapping fives. ‘Passionate’ is an understatement. Fans like that are special." -- Giants LHP Alex Hinshaw on Wrigley Field
