Around SBN: Steve McNair Found Shot to Death

Wrigley2005_panx

I was messing around with an image stitching app and came up with this extreme widescreen view of Wrigley (a Dodger game in 2005). I liked the way it turned out and figured I'd share it.

Did you take that picture?

If you did, you were sitting no more than one section away from me—in our old seats in RF, before the bleacher reconstruction.

That's Mike on the end of the bench at the top of the stairs and me next to him.

Any particular reason why you moved to left Al?

I really have no preference myself.

Because the short bench that we used to sit on in RF....

... no longer exists. There’s no place like that any more in RF. We looked around and found that we (we, meaning the group of us who have sat together for many years) liked the shorter benches, more compact, less people climbing over us, so we chose the LF corner instead.

Not very good memories, but yes, that's Burnitz.

FWIW...

.... the date of this game was Monday, August 29, 2005; the Dodgers scored six runs in the 2nd inning off Jerome Williams and won 9-6.
