For all you haters out there,

I’ll stoke the fire….......make sure little Babe Ruth Fontenot is in there along with the other Cajun, Theriot. You can complain all you want about these two but they get on base. No idea how Mikey hits for power. Now have at it.

This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

Oh no, I saw it

I just meant that none of these lineups have him in it. I hope that changes. Cause as much as I LOVE THERIOT…I am very anxious to have him back. Like you have said many times, as much as we like to complain about some of his shortcomings, he is so valuable to have int he lineup most often.

Calm down.

True.

I know he WANTS to come back tonight. If he can talk Lou into it, he will be.

Ha!

Sori wanted to come back weeks ago! I admire his enthusiasm but I want him to stay healthy from here on out.

Calm down.

Well, remember that the injury...

... is a broken bone, not the leg problems he was having before. In fact, the six weeks off the hamstring has been beneficial in helping it heal. Maybe he’ll have a little more baserunning speed as a result.

Now that...

would be nice to see. Getting on AND putting the pressure on the other team.

Calm down.

I hope the Cubs crush the Snakes

I hope we own them like they did us last year in that big metal Erector set they call a park.
An irrational rage over last year still burns fiercelly in me.

Well, Next Year is here .. and Jack's century's gotta end some time .. GO CUBBIES!

+1

I was at game 1 last year, that series still pisses me off.

edmonds can have tonite off vs. Unit

that’s my only beef with the lineups

Before Edmonds: 24-16, (.600); With Edmonds: 34-24 (.586)
Edmonds with Cubs: .270 / .369 / .569 10 HR 30 RBI

by joeschmitt on Jul 21, 2008 12:24 PM CDT reply actions

Edmonds...

... is 6-for-25 lifetime vs. Johnson with 2 doubles and 2 HR. Still want to give him the night off?
