CNNSI.com Mentions BCB

Okay so it's only one sentence of the whole article, but it's still pretty cool. The article does a good job recreating the atmosphere around Miller last night. From my count it looks like we reached a grand total of 3,295 post. Impressive. Congrats to Al for creating such a great site and everyone who posted last night.

Wow, he knew we broke our record?

BCB has been mentioned by Albert Chen before—cool to know he’s keeping such close track of us.

I wonder what his username is, because you know if he is keeping track of us that closely, that he probably can’t help himself and has to post here.

WOW!

That is so cool. It really says a lot for what you do here Al by making it a great place for all of us to celebrate our love for the Cubs.

Another BCB mention.....

Cubscast.com did an interview with Al. Really enjoyed listening to it.

"We've had our ups and downs, but as long as you have a reason, something to fall back on and a plan, that's all there is to it," Soto said.

Yes, I listened to Al's interview on cubscast last night on the way home.

Nice job, Al! You made a lot of good, down-to-earth points about the Cubs, fans, blogs, etc.

Congratulations Al

The visibility and impact potential of this blog is beyond what I can imagine what are your wildest expectations. That said BCB is at a critical crossroads. Unfortunately it is teetering on the brink of self-destruction because of the dilution of “quality” participation. Either you need to become Marshall Dillon and clean up Dodge, or Dodge is going to crumble like a house of cards.

We’ll be watching from the sidelines anxious to learn if their is going to be a duel, and if there is whether you win the duel.

"there"

well, the over-under wasn’t less than two weeks, so a bunch of people appear to have lose their bets. Blue-Mike has returned.

Let me guess—you were never on the sidelines when you were an All-MAC 2nd Baseman from NIU in 1983.

Except there was no such person.

it's good to be the pitching.

Because, of course, pitching is KING.
