Remember, you're looking at it from an odd angle.

Because of paralax, you physically cannot be 100% of the location of any pitch you see on TV. So border calls can look funny and yet be correct.

I don't think there's any way to tell...

...other than going through the play-by-play data, no. Retrosheet offers the PBP data from 1956 on for download, and you can parse it with tools and then sift through it with database software. If you’re really interested, try adding it to the Ask a Sabermagician link below so I remember it.
