also contributes to the thread’s slowness, not just file size.
Considering it takes graphics resources to render. I’ll guess that both file size and actual picture size have something to do with thread performance.

Line drive to Soriano
Weeks was already running, went past second base when soriano caught it, went “oh shit!” and started jogging back to first with the foregone conclusion that he was going to get thrown out.
But DLee dropped the throw from soriano and BARELY recovered it in time to tag a diving weeks out.
by cubsonWGN4ever on Jul 31, 2008 1:24 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
Counsell hit a line drive to left.
It hung up Soriano caught it, Weeks didn’t look at the play, then tried to jog back to first. Fonzie fired it to Lee and doubled him up.

Line drive to the right of Soriano as Weeks was running on a 3-2 count
Soriano caught and quickly threw a bullet one hop towards 1B (Weeks had to retouch 2B and try to get back) the throw took DLee off the bag and he had to block it, ball on the ground and he grabs it falling down and touches 1B before Weeks makes it back

I'm thinking you weren't burdened with an overabundance of schooling, so why don't we just ignore each other til we go away.

Get him out by the 6th and hammer the bullpen some more!

Sometimes on Gameday when Harden is pitching
I get confused when we’re batting, and think that red balls are good; I just get so used to them. I guess it’s just hard to convince myself that blue balls are good??

you must be joking.
’’If somebody had told me we were going to lose Soriano for eight weeks, lose [Carlos] Zambrano and Kerry Wood for a couple of weeks apiece, and then at the same time lose [Reed] Johnson, and then when we played the American League not have a DH [then-injured Daryle Ward], and be in first place by two games, I’d tell you we were pretty fortunate.’’ Lou Piniella (7/23/08)

not really
he is way over-rated, i know everyone likes him, but he drives me nuts, he doesnt make adjustment and looks lost, they could put a shift on him and play everyone between 2nd and 3rd and he would bat zero or close to it.

Give him time
it’s his first season here. I predict a .300 season next year. He’ll come into form for the playoffs.
