Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

We gotta have something here about how the Cubs have absolutely laid into the Brewers. And yes, if the Cubs should lose tonight, I will take full responsibility for posting this today.

They won't lose tonight......

..... this afternoon, maybe, but not tonight. However, I agree. Even with all this let’s “make nice with the other BCB” stuff (really, I don’t think their webmaster is the least bit interested in making nice, talk about thin-skinned, but who cares anyway), no matter what happens in the fourth game of the series, the Cubs have PUNKED the Brewers so far. They’ve gone into Miller Park and embarrassed the Brewers, simply humiliated them. They got to Sa-sa-sabathia, dismantled Sheets, and sent Parra to the showers. all the while just stifling the Brewers’ offense. Personally, I would have been happy with a split in this series, but with Harden going against Bush and a rested Cubs bullpen, you have to like the chances for a sweep.

There’s still a couple of months to go of course, but as Al keeps saying, this just has the feeling of a special year.

Well glad I didn't jinx it

But not so glad that I said “tonight” instead of “today.” Oops. Duh.
