I'll ask again.
Was that Omar Vizquel in the back row in that picture of the 1908 Cubs? I think that was his rookie season.

Don’t worry, I’m aware I don’t get a say in it and my dream of being a Cubs 3rd baseman died in little league.

I agree, he’ll snap out of it soon enough. Probably when the team arrives back home.

Count on it
He’ll ask Joba if he likes the fact that the Yankees haven’t clogged the bases this year
No doubt.
Just to clarify, they had Orestes on as a color commentator for a game or two, and it was like someone told him right before the first pitch “You know what? No one respects Latin ballplayers. You’ve gotta change that in this one game.” It was odd. Virtually all of my favorite players happen to be Latino….it’s not like there’s a problem here.

how did we get

nope 2-0
let’s not get ahead of ourselves. But the lack of a third run is Theriot’s fault. :-)

Don't think you can.
Theriot still has minor league options, so you don’t have to designate him – you just assign him.
It's perfectly calibrated so Tony can have three different guys throw strikes 1, 2, and 3 to a batter.

Probably obvious but this is the inning.
We had a runner in scoring position and got nothing. Lilly has Ankiel, Pujols and Glaus coming. Big time pitching needed from Lilly coming up.

probably, but OF isn't DeRosa's main position
