Questions from Wrigley Visitor

Hi Cubbie fans,

Great work from Al and you fans on this great site.  What a terrific resource for following the Cubs!

Greetings from Philadelphia.

Had a question about Wrigley Field.

It's been years since I have been to Wrigley and my wife has never been there.

Wife is 7-months pregnant and we want to go to the July 25 game.

As I shop around for tickets, can you please help with the lowdown on (of all things) women's bathrooms.

Simply stated, how is the bathroom situation for women?

Also, it was suggested to me that tickets in the 236 to 240 section range are good seats -- unique vantage point for the game.

Any thoughts on this?

Would love to hear your thoughts!  Go Cubbies!

Many thanks

Women's Rooms

First, congratulations on your expanding family! I trust your wife is as comfortable as a 7-month pregnant woman can be in mid-July.

The women’s rooms are operated efficiently, a fact that surprised me the first time I used them. The line snaked far outside the door and yet I got in and out in no more than five or ten minutes. They have plenty of stalls and attendants at both entrance and exit. That there was a separate entrance and exit surprised me. I found this out by trying to exit through the entrance. The door attendant firmly yet kindly sent me in the other direction. I’m impressed with Wrigley’s Crowd Management personnel. They’ve always been quite helpful in all manner of ways.

Bottom line, even with a pregnant woman’s bladder your wife should be AOK. Enjoy the game, the stadium, and… Go Cubbies!

p.s. I think it’s charming that your child will be able to claim that his/her first visit to Wrigley occurred in utero.

If she gives birth in the stands

You can name the child Wrigley!

Think of how stupid the average person is, and remember, half of them are stupider than that!

I Think I'd Recommend

the name Addison instead of Wrigley. Certainly not Clark.

it really depends on what row you are in out there.

Some of those seats out there have serious issues with poles. some of the other guys here may be able to help you better with that than I can, but in general I’d say if you can, get terrace BOX not terrace RESERVED.

good luck to you and congrats on the future addition to the family.

Nothing great about 236-240 sectopms

Basically far down the RF line. Sounds to me like a broker trying to justify not really great
seats at high prices. ( which basically describes nearly all brokers anyway)

Re the bathrooms , lines can get long at times but I am pretty sure a very pregnant woman
could but in. It is a pretty casual atmosphere.

OT: Baseball alive at old Tiger Stadium site
I have to admit, i didn't expect this to work, and i generally don't condone ratting somebody out, but i think Woo Woo inspires special circumstances.

He was a few rows above me and a group of maybe a hundred other University of Iowa alumni last night, and started right in with the wooing early and loud. Between innings, he was... how shall i say this... creeping around? We all know his reputation.

Within 10 minutes of making a complaint to the Cubs text line, he was gone. Might be worth trying in future instances.

Sorry for the crappy picture quality... just got a new phone (HTC EVO) and am not sure how to take screen caps yet.
