Can you watch archived games on MLB.tv without having a MLB.tv subscription? I thought I saw someone on here that you just have to have a MLB.com account. Is that right, or do you have to have some sort of MLB.tv subscription?

it hit the lip and he thought it would come up higher, but it didn’t, and went through his legs

A little difficult
ball seemed to hit at the seam of the grass and dirt and didn’t bounce up very much. Perfect defensive form might have still allowed him to get it, but he was charging the ball.

what the hell, directv?
the game is supposed to be on channel 740 but is apparently blacked out—even though i live in michigan and the blackout shouldn’t apply. it’s coming in on channel 640, but when i try to DVR it, it says “your receiver is not authorized to record this program”.
this is ridiculous. anyone else with directv having this problem?
You can't record?
I just hit the record, no problem here…..

Yeah, I wish WGN had the Saturday games...
if Comcast has it, even though the game will be over long before Fox starts, it is blacked out. I certainly hope that Harden pitches Friday, otherwise I will have only Cartoon Cubs…....

Hey, it's a new century!
missed opportunity
Cueto isn’t going to be in there forever. Too bad we didn’t score.

Thinking out loud here (and avoiding work)...
I’m guessing that the reason the Cubs are carrying 13 pitchers and not calling up a position player is that Jim Hendry is trying to trade a pitcher (Wuertz, Lieber, Marshall, or Marquis) for a 4th OF before the ASB. I don’t think that Lou wants Pie back up, Hoffpauir duplicates Ward, Fuld can’t hit AA pitching, and Dubois and Kroeger are 4A players.
Any other ideas?

It'd better be Marquis, and Pie had better be up before the season is over...
