the way we match up at the end of the season, assuming that we skip marquis a couple of times to make sure lilly, z, demp, and harden are on 5 days… then the last few weeks looks like this:

17th Mil Demp
18th Mil Harden
19th STL Lilly
20th Stl Marquis
21st Stl Z
22nd NY Demp
23rd NY Harden
24th NY Lilly
25th NY Marquis
26th MIl Z
27th Mil Demp
28th @ Mil Harden

Sorry, but...

getting ahead of yourself a little too much for my liking. I think the philosophy of let’s look at one game/one series at a time. Good work though on the research!

Have a look at...

... this Paul Sullivan article to know that it won’t necessarily go the way it’s listed in this post.

Having

At least two of Zambrano, Lilly, Harden and Dempster pitch in every series, is pretty awesome. On paper it’s gonna give us a chance to win every series, we haven’t really had that since 04. Just think how many series recently we only had one of Zambrano, Dempster or Lilly going with Marquis or Marshall/Gallagher. Marshall/Gallagher have done well but I feel alot better with Harden pitching. Hopefully Harden can stay healthy and give us 9-12 starts the rest of the year and pitch in the postseason.
