Went to the kitchen

What’s Harden’s pitch count?

i second the motion
on curtailing the negativity. . . yes, pitch count and BBs are high, but he has a two hit shutout as it stands now. . . give the man some support

Hopefully Fukudome will hit one right up the box
Nice and low, there he goes!

I think batting 7th or 8th will help him.
Less pressure, pitchers tend to relax more.

but...
you say “this…” like he didnt pitch well…so he wasnt getting the greatest movement. havent said anyone say anything about that. he has had 8 off days…he might have lost his feel forhis movement. but he faked it real well

in comparison
he hasn’t pitched well. Tonight was not a dominant performance. It’s a GOOD performance, and we’d be happy with it from Marquis or Lilly or even Demp, but we have come to expect more from Harden.

A strikeout is no different than a fly out or a ground out.
The object of the game is to get three guys out before the other team scores. He did that successfully five times. What’s wrong with that?

It is different...
If the ball is put in play it has a chance of being a hit….just saying..

but if he gets a groundball
on the second pitch more often then getting a strikeout that takes 6 pitches to put away, then he is helping his pitch count bebackle

I am happy when he gets non-K outs - they are indeed great for keeping his pitch count down
He still had a good stat line today. He just did it in a different way than usual.
I wanted to see him do things his usual way today, to reassure me after that bad outing last week where he lost his control. Because with Rich, anytime something’s different and he looks uncomfortable on the mound, it gives me flashbacks to all the times before. But if he’s fine and that just happens to be the way things worked out today – that’s great!

I'm satisfied...
just thought maybe I heard wrong….i don’t care how many K’s he gets. The team win is the important thing.

Atlanta's announcers made a big thing about Fukudome's former manager Hoshino
What they didn’t say was that he left years ago to manage Hanshin and has been out of baseball for several years…

Len and Bob just talked about him.
He used to punch players in the face when they weren’t doing well.
