I guess I thought this stat existed…not just blown saves, but as a gauge of bullpen quality. Because a bullpen can lose a lead, or have it become tied, and still get the win. Does this make sense?

…and played in 148. A little low for a full-time starter, but it’s not like he’s getting worse at stealing bags as the season has worn on. He sucked eggs at stealing bases in April.

The other quick-and-dirty indicator of speed that I use (triples as a percentage of non-home run extra base hits) has actually gone up a tick this year. Doubles as a percentage of hits has gone way down, though. Ellifiknow.
