Following Through
Back before the All-Star Break, I made a prediction: that the 2008 Chicago Cubs would be 8-10 games up on the second-place team by the middle of August. I said that if they weren't 8-10 games up, I'd donate $20 to Project 3000.
Well, my prediction has not come true. The Cubs struggled coming out of the break, while the Suds have been pretty strong (except for when we swept them, heh-heh-heh) and have only really been able to maintain their lead at 4.5 games.
Time to pony up.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of SB Nation, Bleed Cubbie Blue, or Al Yellon, editor-in-chief. FanPost opinions are, however, valued expressions of opinion by passionate and knowledgeable baseball fans.

I won't believe it
until I see that credit card number, and the billing address.
Oh, and the 3-digit security code too, while you’re at it.

I'm in IT
and I’m on a few IT email lists. One time, a guy was having problems with his router…
so he posted his entire router config. The immediate response was that people wouldn’t help him without his CC number. :D

I don't see anything there.
Was there supposed to be a photo?

I’d delete these other pictures besides the first one. Just for your safety.

I whited out everything that was personal
except one of my email addresses. Do you really think it could be a problem?

no need to give out more personal info than you have to.

Yeah, that's what I mean.
I don’t think it would be a problem, but if it’s on the web, anyone can get to it, ya know? Just as a precaution.

Seriously, well done.
And yes, you should delete everything but the top. At the end of the day, who really cares if people believe you? You know you did it.

I think we should all be concerned
about the issues surrounding shoeing orphans. I’m doing MY part. Now it’s time for you to do yours!

You actually held yourself accountable for something? And as a faceless, blog memeber??? Seriously though man, awesome gesture, I think I will make a similar prediction/pledge next season!

NICE FOLLOW THROUGH!
DEROSA: How did it feel when you're sitting in Baton Rouge and it came across the ticker that Mark DeRosa had just signed to play second base with the Chicago Cubs.
THERIOT: In all honestly, when I saw it, I really felt like punching you right in the mouth and or breaking your leg.
