Colin,
Why do SFs hurt your OBP but Sac bunts aren’t counted? Neither is a PA. How long has it been that way?
"I've never complained about it. I'm thankful to have a jersey." Mark DeRosa, 22 Aug 2007
Because a player who hits a sac fly are trying to hit the ball.
A player who hits a sac bunt is normally intending to give up an out.
Just funny...
A Ranger fan of my told me that Sori didn’t draw his first walk one year until the end of April. Since he had a SF, his OBP was lower than his BA. Not something you see every day…

And I wasn’t getting into it w/ hockey, just didn’t think the only reason people go is for fights.

Let’s score two for him this inning and get him a W.

I think that Ward donated all of his lost weight to Lou...

I worry about
Lou. That’s not healthy at all.
Good luck Shawn Johnson, Lolo Jones and Doug Schwab. Bring home the gold!!!
I was surprised when I saw him at the game I went to just how heavy Lou was

He had lost a lot at the beginning of the season
he does love to eat… his first question is always “where are the good restaurants?”…. I think the stress gets to him. What I worry about is the yo-yo effect.
and just happened
to catch a few pictures of Geo? ;-)

Sanchez out, Hendrickson in for the Marlins

I think that Hendrickson is only on to face Dome.
DeRo has torched him in the past.

Trying to adjust to the adjustments pitchers are making
he is overmatched

i ran the numbers overnight
on closer ERAs in closer situation vs. the 2008 cubs.
as a point of clarification, hawkins mini-me save on ‘flood night’ didn’t count (not a closer)
nor did riske’s save on opening day (same reason).
feel free to guess what the era by closers in closer situations is v. the 2008 cubs below
cubs have come back in 16 games after the 7th is what Pat said tonight...........
so it would have to be fairly high. maybe 4.16?
