closers in closer situations against cubs hitters

in 2008 have surrendered 17 earned runs in 28 2/3 innings

that pencils out to a 5.34 earned run average

howry’s current ERA is 5.43, for a point of reference

I know this is off topic—kind of—but just who is it that owns the My Little Pony backpack in the bullpen? Is this the traditional rookie hazing tool, or does Woody just have a sick sense of fashion and/or humor?

Not with two outs.

He would have had to put Reed into the game anyway, then would have burned Lee and not had anyone to hit for Ward against a LHP.
