Nice exectuion for Geo; poor decision to not check the runner
The one constant has been . . . baseball.
not sure what Encarnation could have done even if he checked Soto
he still has to throw out Harden. But I guess Soto would have to stop momentum.
if he checks the runner...
he isn’t going to get geo unless he races him back to third, and if he takes to long he doesn’t get the out. what the reds should have done is have keppinger cover third and concede fuk getting to second that way when he fields the bunt he can look at soto and get him if hes that far off.
Wonder if Al could
get an interview with Geo? That would be sweet.

Missouri Tigers 2008 Cotton Bowl Champs
Many managers (Bobby Cox comes to mind) don't want their pitchers to expend a lot of energy
on the bases or running out easy grounders. Not sure about Dusty in particular. I personally cringe when Z busts it all the way on an easy grounder. We don’t need him pulling hamstrings on the bases.

I got my tix today...and have determined that KU football is gonna lose a lotta games:
Our back-end six games are brutal…
@ OU
Tech
K-State
@ Huskers
Texas
@ Mizzou
That’s AT LEAST 3 losses.
Still gonna be the 2nd best in the division, and get a bowl game, but not go 12-1 again. Daniel is the story of the Big 12 this season, that, well, and the Tech offense.
Evey Hammond: Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. V: By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
Your Big 12 South rotation makes it difficult to have a lot of good seasons in a row
OU, Texas, and Tech all in one season is brutal.

This Illini/Mizzou game is gonna be epic, even sans Mendenhall

The Angels have
COOLED OFF A LOT. They were 32 games over .500 on August 12, and went 19-6 in July, and are already 8-7 in August. Cooled off for the best team in baseball, but still pretty damn good.
