Inter-league schedule next year?

Does anyone know which American League division we will be playing next year (2009)?

It should be the AL Central.

I’d expect visits to Wrigley from the Indians and Twins, and visits to Kansas City and Detroit, as well as the usual two series with the White Sox.

Would Love 2009 KC Trip

I hope it comes to fruition. I’ve always heard nice things about Royals/Kauffman Stadium but have never been there. I could go to St. Louis, Springfield, MO, or Springdale, AR, on the way up depending on how the MLB Cardinals, AA Cardinals, and AA Naturals schedules line up.

Kauffman

Is a nice stadium. They’re also doing some major enhancements to it currently. They just put in a huge new display that I’ve heard is incredible. Of course, there is also the outfield waterfalls. Its a good, friendly stadium that is easy to get to with decent site lines, even from the outfield. I’ve only taken in one game there since I’ve been here, but a co-worker of mine is a huge Mariners fan and I’ll probably go here next month with him. If the Cubs do end up making the trip again next year I’ll be among the first in line to get my tickets.

Time is an illusion--lunch time doubly so.

KC

Count me in as a Kansas Citian wanting the Cubbies to come to town!

Also...

… this is a very good use of the FanShot… it’s just a one-liner, not big enough for a FanPost, but an interesting question that is a good discussion point.
