While I am not on the ledge
Fukudome needs a rest for a while.
He is a fantastic $12MM defensive specialist, but to come up with men on and RISP, he is simply terrible.
If Lou truly wants to make the team better – give him some time off. He is clueless at the plate and we have three OFers that can hit, regardless of "matchup".

Disagree
I disagree with the Clueless statement. I think he’s been very slow to adapt however to MLB pitching.

very nice.
I’ve noticed he’s been a bit more discerning at the plate. It’s good to see. He’d be ridiculous if he could cut down the strikeouts long term. I literally sudder at the thought of how scary he’d be.

"The Cubs have been HORRIBLE with runs in scoring position"
according to my Nats broadcasters…one of which is Don Sutton…..“….and DLee is tops in the NL in grounding into DP’s” adds Sutton.
Not this time, Don…..

Thanks Don
for jinxing the Nationals there.
Wasn’t Sutton one of those vaseline-ball specialists? Or am I confusing him with Gaylord Perry?
