Fukudome needs a rest for a while.

He is a fantastic $12MM defensive specialist, but to come up with men on and RISP, he is simply terrible.

If Lou truly wants to make the team better – give him some time off. He is clueless at the plate and we have three OFers that can hit, regardless of "matchup".

I’ve noticed he’s been a bit more discerning at the plate. It’s good to see. He’d be ridiculous if he could cut down the strikeouts long term. I literally sudder at the thought of how scary he’d be.

I would take Big Z or Harden over Dempster just because their dominating presence, but I would never complain with Dempster in either
