by Shanghai Badger on Aug 26, 2008 7:22 PM CDT up reply actions

Com'on Shanghai...

…we all know how fragile Z can be. The guy can be a headcase, and NOT giving him the ball in game 1 – and failing to give him that vote of confidence – could really do more damage than good. Dempster probably has to start game 2, because he’s been fantastic at home. And Harden can beat the piss outta any other team’s #3 starter. That’s the rotation. I don’t see anything up for debate. Lou’s been using Zambrano as the ace the whole year – why would he change it now?

but what about keeping Sori in the leadoff spot. Im not saying Dempster doesnt deserve consideration, Im agreeing w/ him that I cant see it happening.

I don't think 13 wins, a 3.29 ERA, and a .243 BAA isn't earning it...Dempster has been great, too, but it's Z's start

Zambrano has been wild as hell and emotional lately. If he can’t calm down, they could find themselves in a 3-0, 4-0 hole against a GOOD team.

I get EI and can watch the Pirates feed. That makes no sense whatsoever.

So if Len is correct

The MLB.COM’s headquarters is where the instant replay’s will be monitored.

Questions:

1. If its at MLB.COM’s HQ’s will they all be watching MLBTV?
2. What if they are and the game is blacked out?
3. What if instead of the game the “technical expert” is watching say an Adult website video instead.

GOD THIS TAKES AWAY FROM THE GAME SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's go Edmonds!

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

But the one thing I do know is that it is the case.

OT - Time Warner Lied

The game is back on now. I’m pissed….

They’ve got me on hold again because I told them I want a credit. Probably think I’ll give up and hang up.

They’re wrong.
