Com'on Shanghai...
…we all know how fragile Z can be. The guy can be a headcase, and NOT giving him the ball in game 1 – and failing to give him that vote of confidence – could really do more damage than good. Dempster probably has to start game 2, because he’s been fantastic at home. And Harden can beat the piss outta any other team’s #3 starter. That’s the rotation. I don’t see anything up for debate. Lou’s been using Zambrano as the ace the whole year – why would he change it now?

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

Anyone watching this game on cable?
I get WGN as a basic local channel in Racine, WI. The game mysteriously got blacked out at 7 PM CDT, and the cable company tells me WGN did it. I find that dubious at best.
I get EI and can watch the Pirates feed. That makes no sense whatsoever.
Anyone else having issues outside Chicago?

well, here is the post i didnt get to put when my computer went down from the first thread
you said that you dont get everyone elses surprise that D-lee isnt that good—that isnt discussing, thats making snide stupid comments about how you think that you are 20 times smarter than anyone else, grow up, you know you would start crap when you posted it
and to top it off, you replied “Jesus Christ” in a unwholesome matter to a person with the screenname “preacherman”—i dont wanna make something of that…but that does seem pretty jerky

it seems that you are trying to make it seem that you are smarter than everyone else, and that you are the only one that figure out that dlee has had struggles. i agree that he has had struggles. im not denying that. but you just act like your so much smarter than everyone else. and dlee is a MAJOR contributor to this team, and you act like he is so horrible…hes having a slight slump, just back off of him

The critical thing to understand is that major-league pitchers don't appear to have the ability to prevent hits on balls in play. There are many possible reasons why this is the case, and I don't really have a concrete idea as to why it is.

So if Len is correct
The MLB.COM’s headquarters is where the instant replay’s will be monitored.
Questions:
1. If its at MLB.COM’s HQ’s will they all be watching MLBTV?
2. What if they are and the game is blacked out?
3. What if instead of the game the “technical expert” is watching say an Adult website video instead.
