9 year old boy banned from pitching because he is too good.
We should keep an eye on this kid.

People are messed up.
This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again.

It’s the “everyone is a winner” mentality. They should find a way to develop this kid’s abilities instead of discouraging him from using them. I suggest the kid’s parents take him out of that league.

I led my little league in HBP two years straight
While I would have been a bit more affraid of fellow like him; our coach would have had us “stand in there.”
If they really were concerned, the league should have been more proactive from the start. Waiting so long it becomes cruel and can be contrived as retributional.
I have no response to that.

Rediculous
This is why we have a generation of kids that can’t cope with any adversity in their lives. God forbid this kid’s pitching would be a catalyst to make oppsing batters better by working on their batting stances and swings. And I don’t believe that any of the kids’ complaints caused this to happen. It is well meaing, but totally wrong, parents’ concern for thier kids. A parent naturally wants to shelter their kid from the harsh truths in life, but it does nothing to help them grow into a well adjusted hard working adults. Life isn’t fair. People aren’t created equally. You’re gonna lose some and win some, you’re gonna have unbelieve strings of misfortune and bad luck, that’s just how it is and kids aren’t learning this. And what does this do to the poor kid that is definetly not in the wrong. He probably won’t want to pitch again. This is dispicable.

My son
My oldest is in the 100th percentile height wise for his age. We have to constantly prove his age. When we go to his games “snacks check, camera check, birth certificate check”
He’s already in the outfield because of parents not wanting him pitching.

Give me a break
What’s next?……Bobby hits the ball too hard he can’t bat, somone may get hit who can’t field! Joey is too fast, he’ll have to wait at the plate for a bit after he makes contact with the ball prior to running to make it fair to the fielders who can’t throw well……..
What the hell goes on up in CT? Can’t imagine why it is not the ultimate BB recruiting ground…..
