Is the dawning of a new era approaching?

Where idiots are now getting fired because they should end themselves??

more radio work and tv work

so, things remain as they are. Idiots get promoted.

if we are behind

and a new thread is due

and sue isn’t around

who announces it?

by tim815 on Aug 26, 2008 9:46 PM CDT   0 recs

Are you trying to enlighten us?

If a tree falls but no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound??

Same question, man. Hurts my brain to think about both.

Now that the runs are in

I stepped away from the PC for a while — did anyone else notice Brenly’s shocked/disgusted reaction to D-Lee taking the 2-0 pitch last inning?

He backed it up though...

saying that if Lee was looking inside fastball, he made a good decision to let the outside corner fastball and get them next pitch.

But yeah, he pulled Santo there for a minute.

no need to, yes the cards winning

would pad our lead in the standings. But I will cheer for the cubs to win the next couple games and at the same time not give a lick what happens in Saint Louis considering I cant stand either team.

by bheidge on Aug 26, 2008 10:03 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

It's not just that

The Brewers are better than the Cards. They are the 2nd best team in the league. Getting them out of the post season would be a good thing.

cheer for the cards all you want

but like I said, I really wont be paying much attention to that series.

by bheidge on Aug 26, 2008 10:07 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

well, ok.

but it’s more cheering against the brewers. Making them work harder makes the Cubs’ job easier.

I draw a distinction between...

…cheering for a team and hoping they win. I hope the Cards win, though that doesn’t appear likely.

Yes, sir!

by dat cubfan daver on Aug 26, 2008 10:10 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

and I hope

both teams lose, though that appears just as unlikely

by bheidge on Aug 26, 2008 10:12 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

If that were possible...

…it would indeed be the ideal solution.

Yes, sir!
