I would prefer Lilly or DeRosa

I wasn’t planning on doing a heck of a lot today.

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

My next sig line quote will also be from Lou Piniella, and the first word will be either "Look", or "Listen", followed by a comma.

The last couple of nights...

I woke up with the “Go Cubs Go” song pulsing thru my brain at 4:00 in the morning! Took me a half hour to get it out of my head and go back to sleep!

This season is just too crazy indeed!

If you think you've seen it all...just wait!

Remember when people said the Cubs couldn't win on the road?

Lets beat some good pitching and hitting.

I wonder how we'll handle this Phillies Series

Any ideas? I could see it being 2-2, or 3-1 in favor for both teams

I could see the Phillies being drained

especially after 2 games with the Mets.

doable.

Their starting pitching, outside of Hamels, hasn’t been impressive. Though Myers has been throwing better, as of late.

Do you have highly developed sense of smell ?

or at least half again as good as the rest of us. Just wondering it the theory that if
you lose or have diminished capacity in one sense it does in fact increase your abilities
with the others.

The first half we couldn’t lose at home, now we’ve evened it up and are winning everywhere!

Yawn, just another win against the Pirates

Thanks Pirates for really helping us out this year. Now go Brewers/Cardinals. I don’t really care which of them wins, just want a 25 inning game.

this weekend.

I have a feeling

that Pittsburgh is going to amped up to beat someone after dropping 7 straight. Milwaukee might be on the receiving end of some Pirate aggression.

I missed hearing the end of the game...

…because of a stupid conference call here at work. On the plus side, I tried Yahoo!’s Gamechannel for the first time to track the game and it seemed to work pretty well.

Huge congrats to the Cubs on the sweep, to Marquis for a great start, and to Marmol and Woody for shutdown relief work.

This weekend at Wrigley is the debut of instant replay for homerun calls.

I think the Cubs would have been swept by the Phillies earlier in the season if there was instant replay.
