White Castle is selling sliders for $.57 here.
I may petition them to sell for $.49 the remainder of the year.

haha, ok. Just to be clear, what is your opinion of Ryan, seriously?
I won’t argue it, I just want to know. Do you think he’s very good, good, decent, etc.
ok, he...
is good. not good to be the starter next year…we need better defense. i think that theriot should be nothing more than a bench player. he isnt the greatest, but he doesa get on base alot before our big guns. so i think we should let him finish the year. ( i just dont think cedeno is a better option) (Opinion)
bring in a better SS to let him lose a competition to next year

DeRo has been one of the hottest guys the last week and here he is, sacrificing himself for the team.
That’s the kind of stuff that shows character and builds winners.

"Go Cubs Go"
Scarily impressive stat...
Cubs have 11 home games left, and currently stand at 51-19 at home. That’s a .729 winning percentage people.
In other words, if we go 9-2 down the stretch at home (only one game above the 8 wins our current home winning percentage would predict), we would win 60 games.
At home.
We currently have two more wins at home than the Nationals have wins – period. One more win at home than the Mariners have – period. As many wins at home as the Padres have wins – period.
Crazy, crazy season.
now that a good stat
this team is awesome.

my prediction a few weeks ago was
92, I definitely underestimated this team
going 15-12 the rest of the season won't require too much momentum.
As I've told you before, I never repeat myself.

15-12
will get them there. that’s a .556 percentage, which is certainly doable.

DWard hit into a fielders choice that scored the first run..
the second run scored on a walk. Phillies pitchers walked the bases loaded and then walked in the tying run. Scott Eyre walked the last two of the sequence to give us the lead
"Go Cubs Go"
85-50
whoa. that… is crazy.

This team definitely by now
has as much affection from me as the 98 and 03 teams combined. And I was born in 1983, so that’s a lot of affection.
and STILL a run behind our expected W-L column

In addition to instituting replay review, MLB announces that it is suspending playoffis and that the two teams with the best records in their respective leagues will be going directly to the World Series.
