Only showing up when your team is going good. If you had an ounce of class, you would have blogged the whole game with us.

Just before Reed Johnson came up to the plate, I was about to post that
Sean Burnett (who had just come into the game) was 0-1 with a 4.25 ERA and he should be hittable.
Well, I guess he was indeed pretty hittable.
How many guys have had big, late-inning HRs this year?
DeRo against the Rockies
RJ today
Ramy has a walk-off
Sori’s hit a couple
I’m sure I’ve missed some…
It’s a different guy every day, that’s what makes this a team.

I just watched that Rockies comeback game on TiVo today....
Hank White with 2 run shot, JEdmonds with homer and Double, and DeRo with the game winner, all in the 6th and 7th innings…
Also, Eyre was really good in that game. Every day is a new hero…one guy fails, someone else picks him up….a special, special team…

Up to the official Scorer.
I didn’t hear who he gave it to. But if he decided that Gaudin didn’t pitch well enough to deserve the win he could give it to someone else. It isn’t done often but it is within his power. I’m not sure of he decision he made.

Boo MLB.TV
Changes needed:
-Pre and post game shows
-Choice of home/away feeds
-Highlight clips – no need to edit them so brutally. For a home run clip, don’t start it right when the pitch is delivered. Build up to it for 10 or 20 seconds – provide some context!
-Leave camera on field between innings instead of showing the same promos 50 times per game and/or a staionary MLB.TV logo for 90 seconds. And no, don’t start showing ads.

Too bad he can't beat the only good team he has faced
Who has he beaten? rockies, braves, weak cardinal offense, reds. But when he faces the cubs he wilts

The only CC you might have in your rotation next year is Chris Capuano.

Feel bad
Feel bad for Brewers fans. Not only did their team lose 5 games in the standings in 7 days but at the end of the day they still live in Milwaukee.

It will more than make up for the Brew Crew finishing third.

Your running out of things to say
I would say you are seeing our farm system developed in front of your eyes. Riot, Marmol, Soto, Z, Fontenot. The Brewers system is farther behind in development.

isn't your AAA team about 15-20 games behind the Iowa Cubs?
but who is counting?
...do we have any parting gifts for this poor soul?
THIS IS OUR CENTURY!!
Our farm system won't be too far behind.
We definitely have superior farm pitching. Couple of elite guys. I don’t think they have a guy with the potential of Vitters. Gamel’s got nothing on Vitters.

Funny that you bring that up
This is a strange road to put us on, but I recently saw the Sosa homer from game 1 of the NLCS. You can hear the radio booth going nuts on the TV. and that is all I have to say about that.

How soon til the media boobs start a closer controversey?
They’re already having a grand time being as stupid as possible on the QB controversey with the Bears. (wouldn’t it be nice if the guys in that one were even half as good as Marmol and Wood comparitvely?)

Just looking at Reed
makes me smile. He and Jimmy have both brought so much to this team. This team seems to have such good chemistry too. Gawd, I love it.

He talked about how he thinks everything happens for a reason. Had he not hurt his back he would like still be a bluejay and the Cubs are by far the best team he’s ever been on.
