blacked out here in central IL, but not tonight. I am lucky though because usually Dish will carry it on one of the sports alt channels, just have to go through all the sports alts to find it.

Dempster is REALLY not locating

That was one of the worst innings I’ve seen him have. Every pitch was up and down the fat part of the plate. If he keeps pitching like that we will need some runs, hopefully he can start locating better.

Cotts, a lefty, is better vs. righties than lefties.

I am not focussed on all of the numbers....

but is there a reason that Daryle Ward is still playing on this team right now? I know that he is a veteran pinch hitting specialist, but I don’t think that he has much left anymore (no…I am not an expert). Also, why in the world would he bat third indeed? I think that Lou doesn’t want to mess up the mojo others have at the spot in the order, but to drop Ward at three is a tremendous disadvantage in the biggest (arguably) spot in the order.

Lee needs a day off and Ward need some PAs

Why not choose to do it in a game versus a pitcher that Ward has hit very well? Putting him third? Lou does stuff like that sometimes.

im sure gonna remember it all when we put those rings on our fingers…from what we were to what we are, to what we will become. i will be absolutely proud of our team for overcoming all the BS that the media throws out there, and what other fans put over our heads

I don’t have to listen to ESPN, whenever the Cubs are at home you can use your XM radio to sync use the broacast and listen to Pat and Ron, way better.
