I mean.....he had 8 Ks and 1 BB. He just had some hits fall, and the second

HR came when someone was on….basically what I am saying is, when you have 8 Ks and a single walk (to the last batter), there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. If they were unlucky and hit to our guys, we would be discussing another dominant start by Harden. I’m guessing he actually just was throwing too much in the zone today, with the ridiculous strike/ball ratio.

If he always kept the ball down as well as he had in his previous Cubs starts,

then I think he’d be pretty much at an all-time great talent level. When you have a strikeout pitcher with ridiculous stuff, you’re going to have days where too many pitches are left up. He’ll be fine. Still has one of the lowest ERAs in the league by far.
